Cathryn Ann Russum

Publisher

When Ann returned to her native Mountain South after living on the Gulf Coast, she realized one thing was missing: a strong, colorful lifestyle and culture magazine that captures the region’s beauty, creativity, rapid growth and independent spirit. Her dream came true with Marquee Magazine’s launch in 1999. Ann has since overseen Marquee’s market and product expansions. In addition to leading Marquee’s staff and overseeing the company’s strategic direction, she enjoys working with the region’s best writers and photographers, as well as Marquee’s advertisers.

Emily Sikora Katt

Editor

Emily has worked her way up the ranks of Marquee Publications during the past two and a half years, moving quickly to high-level editorial and publishing responsibilities. Having worked with all departments of the business, she brings a comprehensive, creative, and knowledgeable approach to her position. And although she holds a degree in Biology, she possesses and has continued to hone extensive writing capabilities, winning awards for her fiction as well as founding and editing her own amateur literary magazine. Emily currently enjoys living in her hometown, Johnson City, and celebrates her own life in the Mountain South with her husband, two beautiful children, and three well-behaved cats.

Aislinn O’Connor

Copy Editor and Contributing Music Editor

Although Aislinn has lived many places—she grew up in New England, moved to Montana for college, and lived in New York City for a while before moving to Johnson City—she couldn’t tell you if a rutabaga is the same thing as a turnip. Married with a young daughter, Aislinn is a musician and singer by passion and a freelance writer and editor by profession.

Tammy Blevins

Food Stylist and Recipe Developer

Tammy Blevins is well-qualified to head up Marquee’s recipe section as Recipe Developer and Food Stylist. She graduated from East Tennessee State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design/Studio Photography. She has 10 years of experience in catering in addition to her 15 years of perfecting new corporate recipes and executing a professional look for the finished dishes. Her hobbies include cooking (of course), volunteering at her church, and participating in the Junior League of Johnson City. She says one of her favorite things to do, however, is to simply hang out by the pool with her husband and two children, eating good food and enjoying their company.
